Hello and Happy New Year to you!

There has been some speculation around Build People’s association with Gunn Talent and more recently O’Neils Personnel, so I thought I would reach out and give you full transparency around our plan.
 
I have always had a vision of a true “one stop shop” recruitment business, where specialised consultants engage with the appropriate managers inside our clients businesses. This would enable us to build a true partnership with each client, as well as become more fully aware of our clients unique operation and culture.
 
So – 3 years ago my sister Jo and I started Gunn Talent. Some of you will remember Jo from when I worked for her back in the day at The Ultimate Recruitment Company. Gunn’s purpose has been to do all the neat stuff we don’t, in other words roles outside Build People’s expertise in Executive and Senior Sales recruitment. Gunn’s been very successful with this, and our results together enabled us to procure the O’Neils Personnel brand and database in 2020. O’Neils has a 30 year history in NZ as well as a hugely significant and market leading temp database.
 
Our three brands now operate out of 570 Mount Wellington Highway and work closely together. The team environment is just superb and we share the same ethos, delivery standards and code of conduct.
 
From the 1st of April the businesses will form (a house of brands) as The Wilson Recruitment Group, co-jointly owned by Jo and I.
 
This change is very positive for you, as we can offer executive through to temporary recruitment options for your entire business, through one key relationship.  The day to day contact and operations that service your business via Build People will not change, I still remain at the helm and will continue to bother you with my phone calls and assertion’s that you’ve “gotta meet this person, they are amaaaaazing!”
